To be fair, it’s grossly over-priced, you could order a new custom Emperor SC 5 Elite from Fodera for $10k, so not sure what this player is smoking.

Overpriced for what it is, and what it is is a fantastic instrument (the looks aren't my things but respect for it being a Fodera), but if I were into buying it I'd go and collect it in person as it'd be cheaper.

Yeah but a genuine late 70s CS80 is one of the most famous synths, to have one working well (they are not indestructible and they need a real specialist who are rare to fix one) is akin to one of the rarest basses so I don’t think they are overpriced. They were very very expensive new and are a monster of a piece of kit (100kg ish).
