Well, after a bit of selling I am very happy with my new bass. A beautifully built Manton Titon, direct from Robin at Manton Customs.

It plays as good as it looks and has the tone I was looking for. I played it at the Bristol Guitar show recently and it "blew me away" so I have been getting to money together ever since.

The Pictures and video are from the Manton site.

Man, what does that weigh? 😳

Will have a check later but it doesn't feel heavy, especially for a 5. I don't do heavy basses.

I would guess at at between 9 and 9.5lb.

I used it at band practice for the 1st time with Adam and The Hellcats last Night. A joy to play and most importantly the band liked, as I got positive feedback afterwards. There are two guitars and a Keytar so the clarity on the EMG's work well. 😁
