ShiroCTH
May I know that which model of this bass is it? I bid it a few years ago from Japan but all information of this bass already lost it so I hope have someone bass expert to find out what model is it. Many thank. =] PS. Fletless Bass. I found out that the nearest model on GOOGLE is Bacchus Venus but I don't think so.
Machines
Looks like a Venus to me, I had one like this apx 2009: Original pic by @ped Edited May 17, 2022 by Machines
Doctor J
Yeah, that natural Venus used to be mine. Slab top, binding, no inlays.
Doctor J
Here's the Venus with an 04 Standard 5. I think it was from 2003. Great bass, but I couldn't live without a forearm contour.
NikNik
I think these are the budget Bacchus range.
Doctor J
They're not. They were hand made in Japan in the early 00's. Edited May 18, 2022 by Doctor J
Jean-Luc Pickguard
Looks like they were going for a sadowsky vibe—except for the bridge/tailpiece combo which seems a weird choice for a jazz bass.
