YouMa
Has anyone checked this guy out? He's really good. I'm assuming he has already been mentioned. Edited May 20, 2022 by YouMa

NJE
I came across him last year after going down some random YouTube rabbit hole. He’s great, obviously a really tidy player and he’s doing to comedy element so well that at times you really can’t tell if he is deadly serious or taking the mick. I saw some live footage and he’s got a great band although the bit I saw his vocals were hard to hear.
Newfoundfreedom
Hasn't he just been made a city?
itu
I have been looking at this name for a few times here, and been thinking: "I have heard this before." But it was Tony Bennett. I feel so old.
Misdee
I really like this guy. Great playing, great hairstyle, great everything really. Thanks for bringing him to my attention!🙂 I find it particularly refreshing that stylistically this gentleman is an unashamedly 1980's-style bass player. I'm not sure if that hair is classed as a mullet (and if I understand correctly, it's pretty much the law in Australia that men have to have their hair in such a fashion), but it really adds to the overall sound. I could see this chap becoming a role model to an older generation of bass players. If he isn't already.
Barking Spiders
Not heard of him before so I clicked the linked and then checked out a few more YT clips. 👍 . Very much my kind of player.

EJWW
Wow, just stumbled on him for the first time! I think he is absolute class and I love the 'alter ego' thing. This is the first video that YouTube served up and what a performance... https://youtu.be/eZRzsrR44Ag?si=wlalIODQd2fD4duL

Kiwi
On 23/05/2022 at 06:16, Misdee said: great hairstyle He reminds me of someone: I also think he's decided get a cheap publicist, throw himself out there as a brand identity by generating a media profile and stay in people's faces long enough to see what happens. It reminds me of the same approach taken by Mononeon...remember him? There are probably others too. There was some guy over here called Biscuit who was trying to be famous for being famous. His playing is alright but I don't think it justifies the hype because I've seen gigging ' meat and potatoes' players in the UK who are better. But maybe I'm getting a bit cynical in my old age.
