Traded: 2018 Music Man Stingray Special in Natural- immaculate - *SOLD* £1850

I'm not too sure about this one but I've fallen in love with my P Basses again, so am putting this up as a feeler. 
 

Its a September 2018 Music Man Stingray Special in natural, complete with case and all the candy. It's in immaculate condition apart from the usual marks and swirls on the pickguard and looks wonderful and plays superbly. It weighs 7lbs 14-15oz (call it 8lbs to be absolutely safe). I'll also include a set of MM official strap locks too. 
 

These are stupid money for a new one now and seem to be increasingly hard to find. 
 

I'm looking for £1,850 posted. I'd consider a px with a light Fender US P Bass in very good condition.

I recently picked up a Special that looks practically identical to this, albeit with a Birdseye roasted maple neck, and it weighs 7lb 15oz! Absolutely awesome basses, GLWTS.

Thanks Jay and you're absolutely right; just weighed it ands it's 7lbs 14-15oz!

 

Typically as I sneaked my wife's kitchen scales upstairs she shouted up had I seen them! I swear she's psychic...

Don't tempt me. I once hollowed out the back of an Epi Les Paul to try and get it lighter.

 

It was getting to the point of being able to bend and it still only knocked a pound off!

Horses for courses but I've always found Music Man's rosewood fingerboard to be a thing of beauty.
 

That said, on the earlier glossy necks with the gorgeous figuring I'd completely agree about the maple fingerboards 👍

I've been asked about trades and although I'm really looking for a straight sale, my head could be turned for a Stingray Special 5 String as long as it's lightweight, or a Fender US P Bass (possibly an American Original) with cash my way.
