Basschatters' Upcoming Gigs

For our next gig we're back in Hereford - big one this time! Our singist and other basschap do occasional promotions under the name Heart Of Anarchy  - this one is for Daz Russell's 40th anniversary of promoting (he's the Rebellion organiser/owner). I think we're on at about 1930, after Ambition Demolition.

Following night there's another in Bilston, with Cocksparrer and Steve Ignorant's Crass set though we're not playing at that...

The next two Hurtsfall gigs open to the general public are:

In The Bl4ck Midwinter Festival at Shakespeare's in Sheffield on Saturday 23rd November

463926761-10163862308132506-855049980530

and Rock Against Racism 2024 at Saltbox In Nottingham on Sunday 24th November

453731075-958997476198063-56283486271906

I don't have timings for either of these yet but I believe that for 23rd we're first on in the evening so starting around 7.30 and for the 24th we're on in the afternoon.

More details when I get them.

This Saturday (9th) I’m heading out to the wilds of Northumberland to play what will be my second full gig on EUB only at the rather marvellous Star Inn in Harbottle (also the scene of my first EUB only gig so I must have done something right 😂) with our acoustic trio covering the best of Americana, country and more. We have a few guests joining us, so it should be a fun filled night. Kick-off is 8pm.

Several of the folk in my main band, the Hulla, are volunteers at the local lifeboat station. Somehow, I've managed to get myself on the line up for a charity night celebrating the 200th anniversary of the RNLI on Saturday. No biggy, you say. Well, after 35 +years of gigging, Saturday will be my first solo spot. I've sung lead and backing vocals, played guitar , bass and even a bit of keyboards in duos through to 13 piece line-ups. But I've never stood on the stage on my own with just a guitar to hide behind. 🤐
