mikebass456 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Had the last rehearsal last night before our 10th anniversary gig this Saturday! A night of classic British '76-'82 punk covers, plus it's the singers birthday the following day. What could POSSIBLY go wrong........🥸🥸 1 1 Quote
BigRedX Posted April 7 Posted April 7 (edited) The next gig for Hurtsfall is on Friday 25th April in Whitby at The Cove with Westenra and Social Youth Cult as part of the Whitby Goth Weekend. Normally I wouldn't be announcing this quite so early, but I believe that tickets are close to selling out, and there will be no admission on the night without a ticket. For the same event last October by the weekend of the gigs there were no tickets left, so if anyone is planning on attending the WGW and would like to see us play I suggest that you get tickets now. Linus27 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 This Thursday, 10th April, I'll be playing at The Bedford in Balham with a singer songwriter called Andrew Maxwell Morris. He is an singer, songwriter and film and television composer and has composed music for Cavendish and EMI Production Music which has been placed across the ITV channels, Channel 4 and Sky Sports. He saw me play with my main band a few weeks ago and asked if I would be willing to play bass for him. We've had two rehearsals and its all sounding rather good so looking forward to my first gig with him as well as playing at The Bedford which I hear is quite a good venue. 3 Quote

super al Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Another month, another gig 😂 The joys of being in a band that plays originals is you get the weekends off as well as the rest of the week! We're playing the Alderbury Social Club this Saturday, our 2nd gig of the year so we shouldn't be that rusty. Oh, and our drummer Darrell is on before us...hope people don't get bored of a 45min drum solo 😄 4 Quote

I play originals and my band could be out almost every weekend if we took everything that was offered and our synth player didn't have family commitments. As it is we have at least two gigs a month for the next 4 months. In between gigs we are writing and rehearsing new songs or recording for our album. 1 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted April 15 Author Posted April 15 Fun pub venue on Saturday. Probably one of the most appreciate audiences for classic rock we will find. 1 Quote
tvickey Posted Sunday at 12:22 Posted Sunday at 12:22 (edited) I'll be playing two gigs in one day with my band SHREDS. I always thought people were crazy to play two shows in one day, and I'd seen quite a few mates do this! However, we were offered a slot to open for the legendary NYC hardcore band AGNOSTIC FRONT and simply couldn't pass! We'll be playing Sheffield in the late afternoon (at the Phazed Out Festival) on May 3rd, and then hotfooting it up to Leeds to play a second show that same evening!
