CBbass
As per title should these fit no problem? I have a 2011 MIJ P bass which has a really tight neck pocket with it's stock P bass neck. I've bought an Allparts Jazz neck with rosewood blocks+binding but theres now 1-2mm pocket gap both sides. I was under the impression these should be the same at the heel. I don't really want to start messing with the neck as it would void the return policy. It doesn't have the plate holes drilled. I don't mind selling the body on and buying an allparts body if that means it'll fit better. I've shot them an email but would also like some advice from the forums. Thanks! CBbass
Have just measured, new neck appears to be 1-2mm thinner.
kodiakblair
@CBbass Don't buy another body, buy a scratchplate that's a snug fit around the neck. Plenty of Fenders ship with gaps/snug scratchplates 👍

PaulThePlug
How about a bit of 0.6 veneer down the edges... or all the way around the heel and sides, should snug it up.
CBbass
Thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking of a little veneer should do the trick.
