Lo. Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 My vid of it - done by ear. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh58NIRSPDw ...and a slowed down version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OK2PhJm_eMg The original is just a masterpiece - apparently NWR was inspired by going to see Weather Report with Jaco just prior to recording HMWYRS. Well worth the effort to learn - it helps you understand control with groove at quick tempos. Quote
Golchen Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I never understand this anal thing of having a perfect tab to copy, surely if it pretty much sounds OK then that's good enough for a gig? How many people in a standard audience are going to give a toss? Quote

If you're learning it as a technical exercise, then it doesn't make a whole lot of sense (to me) to learn anything other than the correct version. Quote
lowdown Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 This is the most accurate i have seen on the net. The Db part is about the only time i have seen it written correct.
