My bass hibernates most of the summer as I tend to be spending most of time outdoors/outside. 

 

But it's not the bass it's my hands feel colder in winter despite heating being turned on.

To answer the question seriously . . .

 

Clean my basses more! Playing in summer means they get coated in sweat! Strings will spend less time on the bass, before being replaced, for the very same reason.

Not so much with the bass playing , but certainly does with the singing .

when I’m recording in the winter months , it’s cold, dark and the neighbours have their windows closed, they can’t hear my dulcet tones .

im the summer I sometimes have some explaining  to do 🤦‍♂️

Very true, I'd forgotten about that one!
