Back in the day I used to buy any LP that had him on the credits. saw him with the Crusaders ( and Pops Popswell) many moons ago....

I saw the Southern Knights tour at the Victoria Theatre, about 1976. I can't remember if Larry Carlton was there, but Pops Popwell was mega.

That would be about when I saw them at Newcastle City Hall, LC deffo played there.
