Chrome Jazz Bass Knobs

Hi, looking to replace the black volume and tone knobs on my Fender 70s Vintera Jazz, does anyone know of a brand that will DEFINITELY fit. The last ones I bought, two fitted and the other didn't and they were in the same pack!

Were all the shafts the same size?

Yes. They were for a Squier Jazz I had at the time, 70s Vibe.

The item was an eBay purchase but checked measurements but get what you pay for I suppose 🤔 

 

Willing to spend more money as long as they fit!

Jazz Bass Knobs... never seen the classic Jazz Bass Knobs in Chrome, or do you mean Chrome Knobs for a Jazz Bass?

 

I likes the Vanson Knobs and have the Full Dome Knobs on 3 basses. Nice weight and great finish, of the bay... but they have a selection of other styles and sizes and are helpfull in going a set of 3...

Yes I meant Chrome Knobs to replace original black Knobs that definitely fit.

I once had a chrome set off a Telecaster guitar on my Jazz but it was a long time ago.

Bass Direct have a lot of knobs (ooooer). Worth asking them. I got some from eBay that turned out to be a smidge too small to fit CTS pots. I put them in a vice and gently drilled them out, finding when I did so that they were chrome plated brass, so that was a bonus.
