jezzaboy Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Any idea who could make me a cover for my Ashdown 4 x 10 bass cab that I have recently bought? Quote

I’ve used Roqsolid several times. Probably not the cheapest but, in my experience, good quality and certainly durable. 6 1 Quote
Lozz196 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Def Roqsolid - they’ll have your cab listed on there Gerry, as I had them make one for the one I had. 1 1 Quote

Just a tip from me, when I got one for my Barefaced Big One I opted for the sleeve inside the front part which allows you to put in some rigid protection. I slipped in the cardboard base from a large fruit&veg box (it’s tough stuff) and I’ve now got extra protection for things going into the speakers. 1 Quote
jezzaboy Posted June 18, 2022 Author Posted June 18, 2022 I think I will do that Len as it`s only a cloth grill on the front of the cab. 1 Quote
jezzaboy Posted June 18, 2022 Author Posted June 18, 2022 Thanks Len and Lozz. Ordered just now, price with a couple of options and including shipping £115. Seems ok for a British made product 2 Quote
neepheid Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 +1 for Roqsolid. I've had one of their covers for my Redsub 1x10 combo for almost a decade now. It has survived all this time, 100s of gigs, velcro in the retaining flap is still great after being opened and closed several times a week and even survived a car crash. That last part is not a joke - the impact did make a slight tear where the amp corner tried to burst through but it held firm and continues to protect my amp wearing its war wound with pride. 3 Quote
BassAdder60 Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 They are taking about 4 weeks to make at the moment Quote
NoRhino Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 https://www.hotcovers.co.uk/contact-us There are a few Ashdown covers in stock for £58. I bought a cover for a Markbass amp from them. Good quality and excellent service. Based in Lanarkshire. 1 Quote
EBS_freak Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Hotcovers. 100% - but I suspect you are sorted now. 1 Quote
chris_b Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 All 3 of my covers were made by Roqsolid. Good prices and great covers. 1 Quote
bass_dinger Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 I had no idea that amp covers were so readily available. Having got the amplifier fa while back for very little money, i see that fully specified cover will cost pretty much the same. However, it feels like a worthwhile investment, to protect the amplifier on its travels. Quote
Crawford13 Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Hotcovers are made in Glasgow which is pretty cool. I got a cover made for a TC cab and picked it up. 1 Quote
jezzaboy Posted June 20, 2022 Author Posted June 20, 2022 Ta for the suggestions but I went with Roqsolid as they had made one for Lozz. 1 Quote
