Flawless, never gigged WARWICK ROCKBASS STAR BASS V in stunning black.

An absolutely gorgeous beast with a huge range of tones, from the honking Jazz Bass bridge pickup to the vast, fat vintage bottom ends of the neck pickup solo'd. Wonderful warm MEC pickups. Never gigged and kept in smoke free studio. Finish is pretty much immaculate. Please see videos and audio below for more detail.  I've recorded me playing the bass on my Fender Rumble 100, via iPhone inbuilt mic, but also off my computer via Universal Audio interface.

Sadly, the soft Warwick rock bag supplied with the bass is a shoddily constructed thing which I have been using to take my other basses to gigs and rehearsals. The zips have gone but you're welcome to have it! (I have improvised some zip tags so it still closes).

To be picked up from Sevenoaks or mutually agreed nearby areas only please.

Here are some specs:

Modeled on the brand's Pro-Series and Custom Shop models, the 5-string Starbass Medium Scale takes up a shape very well known to bass players in a laminated maple body. It is fitted with two passive vintage MEC single-coil pickups, a wenge fingerboard and a 2-piece Warwick bridge.

Gorgeous looking beast this. Do you have any idea of the weight?

I currently play six string but I've recently done my back in yet again, so I think that ship has sailed.

I'm looking for something a lot more lightweight. Ideally something even lighter than a standard 4 string solid body.

Edit

Never mind. Just Googled it. Accordingly to the tinterweb it's around 8.6 kg.

Kg?  That's around 19lbs? Is that the shipping weight?

Oops. My bad.

I meant 8.6lbs. 3.9kg

My current hollow body 4 string is 8lbs. So that seems pretty reasonable.

But my current solid body 4 string is also 8lbs, so it doesn't seem like having a hollow body actually saves much weight.
