lowdown
This was on earlier today and I thought it might interest some of the Basschat members. It's just under 30 minutes long... NHM
well worth a listen. She's so imaginative, creating distinctive bass lines that add so much to the songs whilst remaining a team player.

I only occasionally come across a program which is not available for download, so just listen at home via WIFI. If it was frequent I would consider the above. What file format does it give? bassace
Very interesting. Where does Ray Pohlman come in all this. He’s credited alongside CK on a lot of stuff she did including Righteous Bros and Beach Boys to name but a few. Anyone?

lowdown
Talking of Ray Pohlman, these two cues from the original 'Hawaii Five-O' sessions appeared on YouTube. (The main theme only a couple of weeks back). One of my boys stumbled on them while researching for a project he is working on about TV/Film composer/arranger/conductor, 'Morton Stevens'. There are a couple of photos of Ray Pohlman on it. Also, a photo of Carole Kaye, playing Guitar. Edited June 22, 2022 by lowdown

Has Carol never claimed that it is her under a pseudonym 😉?
Bay Splayer
Didn't she play on most of the Motown hits? 😉 *Gets coat and leaves the room
StickyDBRmf
I had her books. But I didn't know she played on EVERYTHING I listened to. Just found out she was on Cocker's Feelin' Alright.
