stingrayPete1977 Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 I can only find the shell pink signature jazz with jazz pickups... Quote

stingrayPete1977 Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 (edited) Thanks, Just been looking at them, discontinued in 2020. If they'd made the Inca silver in a five string I'd be very tempted! Edited June 25, 2022 by stingrayPete1977 Quote

ern500evo Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 I agree that pick-up placement is key to his live sound, it just sounds so right for him 1 Quote

I knew of Thundercat from his time with Suicidal Tendencies. He was always an amazing bassist although I was quite surprised when I heard his more recent work. Quote

They're both part of 'The West Coast Get Down', which is a collective of jazz musicians who have been playing together since they were teenagers and have in the last few years been making big waves in the jazz world, as well as becoming some of the most in demand session musicians for genres from pop to hip hop. I like Thundercat's solo stuff, but I can see why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. Quote

I'm afraid I don't really get jazz although I appreciate it, especially the drumming. 1 Quote
