Orange Crush 50 & headphones

I’m looking to buy a pair of headphones for practice. Does someone know the headphone output impedance of this amplifier, so I can correctly match headphones? I’ve checked the manual and nothing there.

If the amp has a dedicated headphone socket you pretty much just plug your headphones into that. Impedance is not that important when talking about headphones.

Ordinarily, I would agree with you, but the headphones I’m looking at are available with 32, 80 and 250 ohms. I spoke with Orange last week and they had no specs, however, their technical chap is to measure them tomorrow, which is great service. I’ll post when I hear from them, as others may find the information helpful.

Jury is still out I’m afraid. Chased Orange a couple of further times, but didn’t receive the information. To be fair, they sounded to be up to their eyes. I bought a Mooer P1 for practice with headphones, which is a simpler solution.
