PGTips Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 (edited) The Church that I play at has recently removed the stage monitors and has gone with an in-ear monitor system (wired). I've been using a Line 6 G30 Wireless System for my bass for several years, and wanted to go wireless with the in-ears as well. I had a look through this forum and found a few people recommending the Xvive U4. So I got a set from Andertons for £179, and can confirm that the sound quality is excellent and there are no compatibility issues with the Line 6 G30. https://xvive.com/audio/product/u4-in-ear-monitor-wireless-system/ https://www.andertons.co.uk/xvive-wireless-in-ear-monitor-system-24ghz-no-earphones-xu4 Here's a review from Tom Quayle; Edited July 1, 2022 by PGTips Fixing the line spacing 1 1 Quote
dand666 Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Good to know, I'm using the Shure GLXD16 for my bass and needing to go wireless for my IEMS. Tempted to try this, hoping they have a return policy incase they aren't what I'm after. 1 Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 I've had one of these for a few months. I upgraded from one of the cheaper digi systems, and I am very impressed - It's the quietest system (background noise) I've used, and is crystal clear. It gets used alongside my g30 system at every gig I do, as well as the rehearsals required. Great battery life, and great sound. Highly recommend it to anyone 👍 2 Quote
