Legacy 800 Input Trim

Interested in how other GK Legacy users set their input trim ?

I can max mine out even with my active bass ( the GK video suggests max setting and back off if clip light comes on )

Does anyone also use the “ bump” setting or does it add too much bass when playing loud

Finally drive settings how do you set yours ?

Im looking to have mine as always on with the slightest amount of grit and same volume level etc

Received my 800 on Saturday and gigged it on Sunday without any previous rehearsal.  Had an hour or so to faff about with it at home then 15 minutes to sound check with the band. Dimed the trim then backed off as required as it says in the video. Ended up looking like this....

Still needs a little bit of fine tuning but still sounded great and handled the effects with ease.

It's not what I'd call a plug and play, it's very bright when everything is flat so needs a bit of work to find your sound

Once I'd stuffed my distortion through it it sounded huge.

Just need to find a case for it now.

I have my EQ at 2 o'clock bass, 2.30 lo-mid, noon hi-mid and 11.30 treble as the amp is very bright. Bump & Presence switches engaged.

Input trim is around midday as my active Spector is very powerful. EQ on Spector dimed. I occasionally add just a tiny bit of grit from the drive section....
