Hello.  I am a square these days.  We just moved to the UK. First concert at Hyde is this one.  Woo Hoo Pearl Jam!!!! But I have a sitter I need to give times too.  Could someone give me a good estimate of what is to be expected if our ticket says 2:00 pm.  Am I missing a big statement of etstimated PJ timing.l. I know the other performers want to be seen and such but I have a kiddo I have to work around.  EEEK

Thanks.

Hi , I was at a Hyde park concert last week 👍

The gates open at 2pm , and all the support acts will be on through the afternoon - expect pearl jam to be on around 8:30pm and the whole concert day to finish at around 10:30pm.

Hope this helps , enjoy the concert.

setlist.fm has set times for previous shows (https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/pearl-jam-23d6b80b.html - beware potential setlist spoilers of course, even though they do a different set every night). Pearl Jam tend to go on a bit, but on the other hand there'll be a strict curfew at Hyde Park to keep the locals happy (Adele was all done by 10.20pm on Saturday)

Even if it's an early (Adele-like) finish you've still got to contend with 50,000 people heading for the exits. Do you live in Mayfair? if not err on the side of caution.

Depending on which day you are there have a good look at the support acts and decide how early you need to be there. and of course you need to be there early if you intend to be at the front of the stage. There's a local noise curfew at 22.30 so it will definitely be finished by then.  I found getting out surprisingly easy when we went a few years back, we walked down the middle of Park Lane on a Saturday night which was a bit surreal.

Having said that though, PJ do ridiculously early/long encores so when that happens you can start heading to the exits and still catch the end of the show but be nearer the exits. Then leg it

No long encores - they WILL pull the plug at 22.30 as Springsteen and McCartney found out in 2012.

Long as in many songs, but still finishing at the curfew time.

I'm not a massive PJ fan - most of the songs seem to go on forever anyway so maybe the encores just seem never ending?.
