BassOrWhat Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hi Basschatters Anyone found a good source of replacement necks for Fender basses in the UK? The neck on my Korean precision is goosed. Thanks Quote
Velarian Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) Northwest Guitars? https://www.northwestguitars.co.uk/precision-bass-style-necks/ Edit: for transparency I should add that I’ve not had one of their necks but I got a P Bass body from them and the quality was excellent. P.S. If you sign up to their mailing list you get 10% off your first order. Edited July 7, 2022 by Velarian 1 Quote
tegs07 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) What is your budget? A mex fender neck is around £270. Last one I bought was from Andertons I think. Someone also has a Mighty Mite neck on ebay at the moment but it has several days to run. If budget is less than £150 then the suggestion above is a fair one. I put one on a Bitsa around a year ago. It was OK for the money but I would probably look out for a used Fender Mex, Mighty Mite or Allparts in preference. Edited July 7, 2022 by tegs07 Quote

BassOrWhat Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Brilliant. Thanks for your suggestions. I decided to go for a maple neck from allparts. I've yet to see if it's any good. Quote
bloke_zero Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 I like allparts, great solid necks. Can be a bit chunky but you can always get it shaved a bit. Quote
