Hartke HA5500 **Traded** £150 St Neots, Cambridgeshire

For sale is my Hartke HA5500. I switched to an Ashdown ABM a couple of years ago & decided to keep this as a backup. Problem is, it’s heavy for a backup - I’d be better of buying a cheaper class d head instead that I can throw in a gig bag.

This amp has been well gigged and has plenty of battle scars on the tolex. But the head is good and has never let me down.

there’s loads of good features on this head too. Graphic equaliser, tube preamp, compressor, high pass and low pass filter.

in terms of the price I really wasn’t sure what it’s worth, but I think £150 ish is probably about right. Or possibly interested in a class d head trade - has to be 500w minimum though.

I had one of these. Can confirm it’s heavy but absolutely amazing sounding and bombproof.

These are great amps, and very loud in an old-skool 'Trace Elliot watts' kind of way!
