Bass String Tree - Slotted

On my Stingray bass it has a slotted string tree for the A and D strings 

 

I changed string gauge from 40-100 to 45-105 and the A string doesn’t sit in the slot.

 

Do you think this is an issue ( plays fine ) ??? 
 

I have a spare chrome string tree that I could file out if it’s crucial it sits in the slot

If it’s not buzzing or causing an issue, roll with it and see what happens

You mentioned this in another thread - I wouldn't worry about it. EBMM would not make a bass that could only do one string gauge.
