bubinga5 Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Probably the bass i love the most. This is my 6th Laky.. Just fat tone. Pleked, amazing neck. Its a classic Lakland for a reason i think. I will probably always come back to a 55.. really great preamp. Feels so nice to play. 13 Quote

Bigwan Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 The Lakland 5 is probably the best neck I've ever experienced 1 Quote

super al Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 That's a beauty, I have one in black with a red tort scratch plate that I call my PPI bass. Probably the most comfortable neck I've ever played, easily the best sound and the best string spacing. I'll play my other basses occasionally but I'll always go back to the Lākland for rehearsals and gigs 👍 1 Quote
Jakester Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 I picked one up a couple of months ago and agree - it’s lovely! I somewhat shamefully haven’t done a NBD yet… 1 Quote
BillyBass Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Lovely bass mate, enjoy! How heavy is it? and is there any neck dive? Quote

Sibob Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 I think maybe I had this for a very brief moment. Needed a setup when it was with me (was sold before it had one as it was just taken in part-ex), but I could tell it was a great bass. Enjoy Si Quote

Im a big believer that you should set the neck dead straight. Then adjust the bridge. Works for me Quote
