I had a Pod X3 Live (since upgraded to an HX Stomp) for a number of years. Guitar and bass models on it were both good to my ear. The editing experience is a bit clunky by modern standards but there are enough controls for it not to be too painful.

The X3 uses the old PODxt model set, so theoretically, could sound somewhat dated, where the Valeton is a more recent product.

TBH, it may be worth looking at either the Zoom B3n/B6 or the POD Go. But, as usual, it depends on your budget.
