Just 3 questions

  1. What's the width at the nut please?
  2. What weight?
  3. What's your address and when are you next going out?

Gorgeous bass. GLWTS.

That looks absolutely beautiful and in superb condition.

Although she doesn’t know as yet, I’ve just completed an Autotrader advert for the wife’s car.....well she does keep moaning that we have two cars and only need one!

Wish me luck with the sale!!!

Many thanks.

I have had a lot of requests for more information on this Bass. I will provide more detail soon.

What I do have is the receipt I recieved from The Guitar Emporium  in Kings Road.

The serial number is prefixed with an L***

The receipt states that it is all original.

It also states that the Bass was "formerly the property of Bob Paisley and has been used on recordings and live work. "

The fingerboard is Rio rosewood

And I think ‘65 being the last year Fender used Brazilian Rosewood too.

My 66 Jazz has a lovely dark Brazilian rosewood, rather than Indian, board. I've definitely seen it on some (technically) 67-8 Fender basses too so suspect CBS were using up stock.

Beautiful bass though ❤️ GLWTS!

Leo Fender have a batch of testing bass with paduak between 65/66

My bad eyes cant tell with provided pictures.

Would be perfect to have clear one to observe the color and grain
