stewblack
In case anyone is thinking of taking the plunge, I just ordered two cab front covers from gig.ink. All I can say at the moment is the ordering process has been simple, reasonably hi res pictures and accurate measurements, and you're good to go. Had help with the artwork from the guy who designed the band artwork to make sure it all ties in nicely, otherwise it seems idiot proof. Next stage is they email a mock up for me to check before they print it. Watch this space. Edited July 18, 2022 by stewblack

stewblack
Product arrived today. It's really cool. The entire process was simplicity itself and the communication second to none. Very quick turn around too. Happy to recommend Gig.ink.

Jakester
That looks great. I wonder if it would work for PA speakers?

Jean-Luc Pickguard
They look really good. Are they fixed on with velcro? What was the cost of each?

Yes I fixed them with velcro, supplied by Gig.ink. You can order them over sized if you prefer and wrap them around the cab grill. However I want to remove them when playing in different bands, and to keep them in good condition travelling to and from the gig. £29 for the small one and £32 for the big one. PaulThePlug
I'd of saved myself £60 and changed the name of the band to 'Barefaced'... 🤣 Edited July 25, 2022 by PaulThePlug

hiram.k.hackenbacker
@stewblack do have photos of how it fixes to the cab front. I'm not sure I particularly want to stick one side of velcro to my cloth grille.
hiram.k.hackenbacker
....and I've never tried removing the grille from my Barefaced. Do they come off easily if going for the wrap around option?
stewblack
1cm squares of velcro stick as many as required around the edge of the grill. Don't have cloth grill so I can't say how that would work I'm afraid.
hiram.k.hackenbacker
Anyone know if Barefaced silver cloth cab fronts are easily removable?
stewblack
Maybe ask Tim at Gig.ink? He has probably provided covers for cloth fronted cabs
Woodinblack
Thanks for posting this, I was trying to remember who did the pickguards anyway and had forgotten. However, this seems like a very good idea
