harvey1-8 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009
It has a small amount of worming on the back, otherwise in excellent condition. Push/pull pots for coil taps on both pick ups, in series/parallel, in/out of phase giving 21 options. Jimmy Page shaped neck (thinner in the middle than at the ends). Swap for a Bass or a cheaper Bass and 300w+ portable (as in small and light as i'm getting old) bass combo of similar value (about £2000).
The finish on that is stunning. Gibson sure know how to paint a guitar. Good luck finding a deal.
budget bassist Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 oh wow, that really is pretty, good luck selling
mcgraham Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I played one of these in Hong Kong. Stunning instrument. Only LP I've ever liked. If I remember rightly this particular model I played had a thinner body with some hollowing out to make it lighter. Also the finish on the neck was quite open, nowhere near as thick and hard finished as a lot of LPs you see. Best of luck with the sale! Mark
