Linus27
Watching Alanis Morissette concert and the bass amp caught my eye. It looks to be an Ashdown from the VU meter on the left hand side but I cant really recognise which one, especially as the right hand side looks quite plain. The bassist is also Chris Chaney I believe who usually uses Aguilar. Any ideas?
Woodinblack
I would say an Ashdown ABM 500 RC Evo II 575W Chrome Face. Like this:
yorks5stringer
Isn't it ironic?
Russ
Chris Chaney has always used Aguilar every time I've seen him (once, many moons ago, with Alanis, and several times since with Jane's Addiction). Maybe he's endorsing Ashdown now? They seem to have got a few new people on board recently. Although, if that was the case, I'd be expecting him to be using one of the fancy new dual-VU ABMs rather than one that's 15-odd years old. Woodinblack
I assume he just bought it because he liked it - if he was endorsing he wouldn't have a 2 generation back rack mount amp.

Doddy
I'm pretty sure that concert is from when Eric Avery was on bass. Chris Chaney hasn't toured with Alanis since the early 2000s. Her touring bass player has been Cedric Lemoyne for a few years now.
