Updating Status (no - not the bass!)

How does one update one's status on this site?

On the mobile version, hit the drop down on your avatar, hit profile and the top item allows you to add a public message to your feed. On the desktop version, there should be a status update with everyone else’s (not on a desktop right now, so can’t check).

On a desktop, on the top left above all the status messages theres a 'whats on your mind' box where you can type a status in

Well on the mobile version (ipad) I’m blowed if i can see an option to say what’s on my mind!

I think in Edit profile you might have to have ,Enable status updates, turned on
