Good grief, just listened to the bass work on this by Rick Danko

I've long loved this version of Too Much Of Nothing by Peter, Paul and Mary but only now listened to it properly. Oh my word - the bass playing is out of this world

Big Rick fan too. The first time I saw him was in my Dad's video of The Last Waltz when I was 12 or so. Ineffably cool, good looking and just a brilliant bass player: I was smitten with bass at that point.

He’s on the Band / Dylan one, but not the Peter, Paul and Mary one in the OP.

Oh my god, yes - it coudl be Richard Kniss though. Looks he played all their session work though he was on upright but looks like him from what I can find.
