Mayones Down tuning

I'm looking at the Prestige or the Viking 5 string however my band plays in dropped A (currently use a Dingwall NG3). Does anyone have experience with drop tuning them? I don't wanna buy one and not be able to get a good sound from it

AEADG works perfectly on the basses I play/ed: MM SR5, MTD Kingston, Spector LX5, Cellar V. 

I know some Mayones players droptune, not sure to what note.
