Jean-Luc Pickguard
Is there any feature or element of your gear that you put up with despite being happy with the other aspects of the gear—due to it being a relatively minor quibble or the expense of replacing/upgrading the gear outweighing the thing you dislike? My personal dislike is the ‘fuzzy rat fur’ on my Schroeder 1212L cabinet. It just looks tatty from being scuffed at the edges and attracting dust and lint. Tolex always looks much smarter. paul_5
Weight. tried lightweight gear, but I just didn’t gel with it.

Beer of the Bass
Bridge piezo pickups on double bass. I don't think there are any that sound all that great, but they work, a mic is finicky in the situations I play and I don't have a lot of cash to throw at chasing the perfect amplified tone.

neepheid
Dunno, I'm pretty happy with everything. At some point I'll get around to investigating why the tweets in my cab don't work but there's a tweeter in the main combo so I'm in no rush. Nicko
I've always hated the way that the jack socket on a Fender Precision is on the front. I tolerate a straight jack into it because all my other kit has a jack in the correct location, on the side of the lower bout.
bassbiscuits
Don't much like the colour on some of my basses, but I'll live with it. First world problems and all that.

That's one of the things Epiphone fixed on the wonderful Vintage pro/60s Thunderbird bass. The original 60s Gibson ones had the socket on the face of the bass but its on the edge for the Epi. Nail Soup
Not sure if this is what the OP was looking for, but I tend to tolerate minor defects far to long..... loose jack socket, pick-up selector which has to be wiggled to get a good contact and so on. I get them fixed eventually... usually at the same cost (of money and/ effort) I could have fixed them for on day one 😞 .

PaulThePlug
@Niko... How simple and elegant it would be if Fender patented and used the 'Strat Boat Jack' for all its guitars and basses? Edge Sockets are an derrière when sitting on the sofa. Edited August 16, 2022 by PaulThePlug
Steve Browning
I tolerate the fact that, as a fingerstyle player, the pickup on a Precision doesn't really come up quite high enough to get a really good anchor for my thumb, without being too close to the strings. It works ok, but not perfect.
WinterMute
The locking jack socket on my ACG Krell 5 string fretless custom build is a bit stiff, hurts my fingers to get the jack out... Pity my horrible life.

If it's plugged in it really should be played standing up and loud enough to hear through the soles of your feet. 1

SteveXFR
My Orange OBC410 cabinet. It weighs an absolute ton and is a pain in the back end to get in and out of the car. I don't really need a cab that big but it seems to be worth less than a 2x10 so I'll just live with it.

LITTLEWING
The E string going dull and muddy so much quicker than the others. Plus the extortionate price of a new one to keep things sounding sweet. 😤
