This was Friday at The Craufurd. Top to bottom: LD headphone transmitter, Bugera Veyron MOSFET (spare), GK MB500 main amp and Supertwin. Had the same rig the following night at The Cart and Horses but used their in house Blackstar 4x10. I used my Ric 4003 on Friday and my Fender pro Jazz on Saturday with a Lekato wireless into an HX Stomp XL.IMG_0568.thumb.jpeg.ae3c5ec5264ca2fff50ace3106e4a9ee.jpeg

Multiple band line up tonight, with backline provided. Sounds OK with my MXR comp and VTDI going into it.

A rare run out of amp #2 last night - my Maruszczyk BassTank (actual made by HandBox). Sounds great. Looks great.

IMG_1013.thumb.jpeg.6cb10bbf7cacfd1538d63a0bcc3b541a.jpegI should use it more.

Love the knobs on top of the amp so you can actually see what you're doing.

Last night's office. The Squier continues to punch above its weight, the ABM was set just so and sounded immense, and having dropped the compressor the pedalboard may as well have not been there, albeit I needed the BDDI21 for our last encore song

Banished to the back room whilst our living room and dining room are redecorated.

My number one and number two into a cali76, a Bassrig supervintage, SVT III non pro and an early 15” barefaced compact. Always with flatwounds 👌

I had one years ago, sold it then spent years looking for another only for one to come up in a local shop. Really nice amps, no gain knob so dont do full on dirt but a very nice open and slightly growly clean SVT tone. Also bomb proof which helps

I’ve always liked those, I only use Ampeg myself, do they have a fan and and are they quiet for home use

Do have a fan, mines not noisy at all and im guessing its the original fan. Certainly quieter than my previous ABM

Nice rig. Out of curiosity what does the Origin SV get you that the III doesn’t? On the face of it, it seems like putting an SVT simulator into an SVT would be redundant.

The SVT III is clean with minimal breakup.  The SV gives it that valvey grunt as if playing through an all valve SVT and gives much more harmonic content and more breakup

Not what I expected even from a class AB SVT given their reputation, but fair enough!
