warwickhunt
Anybody got one/owned one? Cheers, Jez
I've not had a great deal of contact with the Rockbass range but I'd offer the suggestion that you look at a 'non-Rockbass' used Corvette that is a couple of years old. It will have better hardware (not sure about the pups) and you may be able to find one of the Prolines with actives (defo better pups). The wood used on the early Corvettes will most likely be a step up from the Rockbass, so in summary you'll get more bass for your money buying a used Corvette than a Rockbass Corvette. Just my humble opinion though.
lemmywinks
/\ /\ Agreed! /\ /\ You can pick up 2nd hand Corvettes for under £400. There was one i saw go for £276 (i flagged it in the eBay section), that was one of the special editions too with the MM pickup. I've seen a few last year go for the £300 - £350 mark. The active Corvette Standards in swamp ash were under £600 new, bubinga ones a little more Rockbass ones are decent IMO, same electrics as the Warwick i've got. Some on here don't rate em as much but i liked the one i tried. Really would suggest looking for a used German one though

budget bassist
If you want to buy new, i'd wait a few months, rockbass have some new lines coming out this year, the standard rockbass corvette has been given a 2 piece warwick bridge (well, all of them have) and the warwick W at the headstock, fancier woods and there's even a $$ model coming out.
