This 22 fret short scale is as it left the factory with soft aged ‘road worn’ finish and aged hardware. It is beautifully constructed. Fabulous quality components and playability from this respected German manufacturer. Plays as good as it looks and has a nice P bass growl from the simple passive circuit. It is currently strung with Fender short scale round wound nickel strings 40-95 gauge. Complete with Sandberg gigbag, Allen keys and manufacturer’s card and tag. It weighs 3.7kgs and balances perfectly. This is a very well thought out smaller instrument a serious contender for best contemporary short scale bass. Pickup preferred but I can post at buyer’s expense. Note that this is a custom finish option with the position dots and aged finish. A one off bass. Frets, trussrod and neck are excellent. warwickhunt Posted September 1, 2022 Share Posted September 1, 2022 I have the regular scale version of this (though mine might be hardcore aged and oddly is probably slightly lighter) and when I saw this on ebay I did get very twitchy and close to selling mine to get this.
