Well…that’s a beauty.

 

Had a Fender CS55 relic (just like stings bass) and I regret selling it daily. 
 

Congratulations - if you ever need a babysitter for it…🥸

Agreed that the condition is almost worryingly good, but the finish on those very early Precisions does seem to have been less prone to checking. Here's my very early 1957:
