binky_bass Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 "Very Rare"... 🤔 does 'mass produced' equal very rare these days? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115507968228?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=KXH-k4hVQuu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=mojaVkKDRiC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Quote
prowla Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I generally dismiss the word "rare" in listings... 1 Quote
Woodinblack Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I would normally dismiss the word rare in listings, once I was looking for a bass, and 3 of the listings on the result had 'rare' in the title. However, this is the most budget of the SR 6 strings basses so a pretty bold claim as every one of the large box shifters has it! 1 Quote
binky_bass Posted August 30, 2022 Author Posted August 30, 2022 I'm tempted to buy it then return it stating it's not rare and is mass produced. The inconvenience might prevent the seller from clearly trying to con someone again. 1 Quote
TheGreek Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I'm often tempted to ask how rare, then get them to put a number on it. 1 Quote

Dan Dare Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) Yep, the colour says to me it's well done, not rare. As you were. Edited August 30, 2022 by Dan Dare 1 Quote
