JapanAxe Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I'm looking to buy a particular kind of guitar stand but it's not available in the UK (or EC for that matter). There are several available from Chinese sellers on eBay but none are in eBay's Global Shipping Programme. The stand costs £54 and I'm concerned I'll get hit for import duties - would that be likely to happen? Quote
MichaelDean Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 As long as VAT is being collected in advance, there shouldn't be any additional charges as you're below the £135 limit. Source: https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty 1 Quote

JapanAxe Posted September 30, 2022 Author Posted September 30, 2022 Well the stand arrived quicker than expected and there have been no extra charges, so that's a win, cheers all! 3 Quote
