JTUK
Wahey! Another thread I can post pics of my new Lakland Skyline 5560 Custom in! Excellent news. Been playing it non-stop for a couple of days now, and I love it. A beautiful bass to play. Once I've had time to play with it, I'm going to put my J Retro 01 in it. Anyone else used a Retro in a Lakland? How'd it go for you if you have? Liam.
This is getting there..I love a Sunburst with RW blocks and bound. Big fan of Retros as well in Jazzes....I can't see that not working very well if you like the core bass sound.

woodyratm
I was casually browsing the forum and decided to look here...Big mistake. All amazing - need to get mine on at some point! I'm totally tempted to hunt down a DJ5. If it's Natural + Maple neck + black blocks and Pickguard i will die. *drools*
BobVbass
Here's my 2003 Duck Dunn Special edition - this was a run of only 33 they did before the general release red one with the block inlays - superb guitar; the best I've played- it just sings and plays itself..... Dusty
Have sadly said goodbye to 2 of my Lakies this week due to overwhelming GAS for the Bass 'I always promised myself' but then my Lakies are for playing, and not for living on the wall. I know I've still got four of the beauts, possibly more !! lol When I get sometime I will post pics of all those I've owned (about 12) I just love them, never had a bad one, and miss them all. I wonder how many of my ex ones are pictured above ? lol

dave_bass5
What a great collection of basses in this thread. I cant believe i haven't posted in here yet. Although i dont own them any more all my Lakland's have been great, and i will own another one day. I'd love to know who has these now. Ive seen the 55-01 on here recently but lost track of the DJ and DD's (ive had two, or three including one i did send back to Thomanns)
