I couldn’t resist.
Got asked if I wanted to buy it, and almost said no, since I already have six Vantage VP-710B's.
Then I saw that it was in better shape than any of my previous...

so say hallo to "lucky number seven"!

I keep seeing these for sale but the prices range from about £100 to several hundreds so I'm never sure what a fair price is. 

 

Neck thru 70s Matsumotu basses were amazing - good buy sir!!

They are actually set-neck.

I have paid between about €80 and €260 for mine, but seen them for sale for up to €800.

When something works for you…it just works.

 

I had about 9 Yamaha BB’s at one point.

 

I’ve still got one, the one that started the obsession.

 

More power to you - winner, they look great and not run of the mill.
