Up for sale an immaculate Squier Jazz Bass.

Serial number JV54193

Neck stamped 6/83

Neck is in mint condition.

Body has a hairline crack in the paintwork next to the control plate and a few scuff marks on the bottom but it’s a 9.5/10 for condition in my opinion, especially given the age of the bass.

All hardware original too and currently strapped with Half Rounds.

Comes with a Gear 4 Music Hardcase.

4.4kg

UK shipping included too.

No trades thanks.

I bought one of these as a kid and have owned it for the past 36 years. I got rid of my 80’s US Fender as soon as I started playing it. I have not found a better Jazz bass Fender or otherwise.  With regret I sold it when I was at Uni to a friend when I needed cash but bought it back when I could. I won’t part with it again. Mine is a little battle scarred but plays and sounds as good as it did when I first bought it. The JV build quality is legendary. Whoever buys this will have a Jazz bass for life.

I had the Oly JV 57 Precision to this. The neck and board were maple. Beautiful bass. Thought I’d never part with it but alas. Someone’s in for a real treat. GLWTS.

I too have one, exactly the same as this! It's an 82 and I've owned it 29 years, it's been around the world with me. Fantastic basses and very collectable now.
