Looks a very cool bass. I had the SB1000, which is still an awesome bass, but cant lug that monster around anymore.

 

Dingwalls are 8lbs of fan fretted, tonal bliss.

I had the same answer - not their fault - just waiting for stock. So went for a nice NG2 , but with pickups in the combustion position 

 

will treat myself to a DRoc soon.

Looks like BD have just had a fresh Dingwall delivery.

 

So either the JT Rios were part of this delivery and some of us are about to get notified...  or we're talking another couple of months until the next delivery.

Unless it happened this morning and they didn't know it was coming, I think it's unlikely.

I've been in contact with BD this morning.

Just to clarify: that's from me just looking at their site; I have no other knowledge.

 

The last mention of these from BD was in one of their newsletters, mentioning "in the New Year", as I recall.

From what BD have said this morning, they still have no definitive date for the Rio's.

They did say the date had been pushed back and that they keep asking when they're likely to arrive, but nothing so far.

My enthusiasm has been rejuvenated also. After getting a phone call myself about the Rio basses landing soon.

I did not know Bass direct had been allocated 10 out of the 82 units 😳.

Thought they were only getting 2.

I think they're one of the main dealers worldwide. Plus DD being a British band, it probably makes sense to send a fair few to our shores.
