whatever that is looks lovely. I like the way the shape of the pickup has been mirrored in the thumb rest/fretboard thing.

Thanks for a great day all, my first Bass Bash and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and the playing on so many wonderful instruments.

It's a lovely bass. The pickup has a nice thumbcrater, and I love the way the fretboard continues into a thumbrest. Makes it a very playable and beautiful bass!

@Jabba_the_gut - one of yours I think? I didn't get to see it.

It’s my Custom 5iver, unlined fretless! NT, and it’s for Sale!

Thanks to @Andyjr1515 for explaining setups in a way which made sense to me. I have watched myriad videos but never grasped it. This says more about me than about the videos.

Dude with hat - I know his real name,  but not his BC name.

Dude booked in by car - RichardD.

There appear to be two dudes with hats (or caps). The one on the left is Allan aka Cytania.

I'm barely visible, wisely hiding at the back.

Pretty sure that will have been @Marillionred's beautiful 5 string Thumb.  We compared my 4 string SWAPAAWTBWADS (same woods and proportions as a warwick thumb but, wisely, a different shape) side by side with it too :)

Yep! It drew some lovely kind comments, as did my wafer thin Letts fretless.

I really should have had a proper look at that.  @Marillionred - is that a standard thumb size? The reason for asking is that the Westfield is for sale, and I've stated it is smaller than a thumb. But compared to yours it is almost exactly the same size, so I need to correct the advertisement.

Thanks to everyone who made the event happen, great venue, excellent cross section of basses that no shop could ever assemble. It was a privilege to try so many fine instruments and many of my bass prejudices are now in shreds. Eyes opened to the D-Roc shape and the Mustang Bass and amazingly the Teisco, oh and an upright bass and… 😃

Great photos, Pete.  Some of the gear would be good as well.

I know we've not had the invoice for the hall, but do you have an idea of the the profit on the day to go to Nordorf Robbins?
