Mortrix will be exhibiting at Guitar Summit in Mannheim 27th-29th September.

 

I was hoping to be splitting my time exhibiting with Mortrix and with Panda over the weekend but have had to cancel due to more surgery due right around those days. 😞

I have one, I'm slowly getting into using it (53y old). 

At the moment, the Morningstar MC6 is the heart of the midi-set up of my band (https://vi.be/platform/bandwerk) but the plan is to change to Mortrix. As we control our drums (Beatbuddy), keys, effects and loops via midi, it is a slow process. At first I thought the different operating choices of the Mortrix would make it difficult to change from the MC6 (which is doing a good job at controlling everything) but now I slowly start to see the benefits of Mortrix. A lot more testing and thinking is needed but I am confident I will get there.

I am keeping an eye on this page and the Mortrix discord page.

I’m still using my MC6 Pro too, even though I collaborated on Mortrix. There are still a few things the MC does which Mortrix doesn’t that I find useful, mainly the dynamic text on switches that can show different text/numbers depending on state; hopefully that will be added to Mortrix at some point (it was something I pushed for from the outset). The other thing is the ability to act as a USB interface, which Mortrix can’t do (again, hoping this can be added via the Ethernet port or via an expansion module.
