Ebs multi comp pedal

Hi all I’ve just bought this pedal and plugged it in my daisy chain and it won’t turn off on the foot switch is this a fault or am I doing something wrong?

Is it an older Multicomp? The original non true bypass one? after a while EBS pedals can develop footswitch issues. I had a Bass IQ with the same issue many moons ago, it coyld be dirt maybe a bit of contact cleaner on the footswitch! I've had about 6 multicomps since  2002 and I've never switched them off 😁

It’s a fault. I have 2 EBS pedals that I’ve had for ages and I’ve recently had to re-solder the connections to the footswitch on both of them (intermittent failure to turn on). This assumes that it’s an older pedal that you’ve acquired.
