One for the Basschat Hive Mind...

Just swapped the Rounds for Adagio Flats on my Arai Jazz PJ...Silks over Saddles on the E and A... Problem or No Problem?.. Ta Muchly.

If it bothers you either get a razor blade and slice them off or extend the strings away from the bridge plate so the silks don't go over the saddle.

Just a thought but that E saddle looks a long way back for a BBOT bridge. Have you checked the intonation?

Cut the silks back on the E and A...

Clip on tuner makes it's mind up quicker and the E rings a bit clearer unpluged...

 

Unfortunatly the A is a little messy and sharp edged where the silk was but no biggy...

 

Intonation was there or there abouts, G needed moving back a touch...

 

Bit of variation between the Ibanez PU3 clip on and the Zoom B1on tuner... with the blend centered.
