Lovey short scale mustang bass.Ā

Refinished natural, I think it was originally Oly white judging by a little bit of paint in cavity.Ā

All else is original.Ā

I am really a guitarist that has been filling in on bass so was perfect transition.Ā

Small Bass with a big sound!Ā

No hardcase but I have something that fits.Ā

Collection from Fareham, Hampshire.Ā

Lovely - I thought the ash bodied ones were generally natural, sunburst, or blonde rather than painted, so it may have been refinished white at some later point? Ā Much nicer in natural anyway. šŸ‘

Ā

When I started on bass at 16 (as a young punk in 1977) my Dad bought me the only bass tutor I ever owned; ā€œBass Guitarā€ by Jim Gregory and Harvey Vinson, with the inevitable flexi 45rpm disc - which I still own. Ā  It pictured a really funky looking dude playing a Mustang- I so wanted one, but closest I ever got was a Kalamazoo KB1 Mustang copy ....šŸ™

Ā

GLWTS!

That really is a lovely thing. As a recent short scale convert, this really tickles my GAS receptors. GLWTS.
