Tone advice

Iirc nominal flat in 'clock' positions is bass 10, low mid 2, high mid 1, treble 10. Start there.

Be very aware that your solo tone, aka 'bedroom tone', is nearly always 'best' with more bass and less mids. In a rock band band mix that becomes a woolly lost mess buried by guitar hero 'bedroom tone' with boosted low end that obliterates the toneful bass mids.

See if you can get your tone with either just the 2x10 or the 1x15 (if the 2x10 can be disconnected, that is). If so, then you know what cab you need. If not, then it’s either your bass or try a different amp.

Can you get the sound you want from your bass without that rig (e.g. through your computer)?

Presumably you have a sound in your head that you’re trying to get with the equipment you have. Obviously we’re not party to what goes on in your head, but a few points of reference could help - songs, artists, or even genres where that sound can be heard.
