funkydoug
For my fellow multi-effects junkies, In case this hasn't been spotted yet, Zoom have added what looks like all their bass models to the G11. They are in V2 of the effects list, marked with a blue star. https://zoomcorp.com/media/documents/E_G11v2_FX-list.pdf Happy Friday
jimfist
Interesting option for bassists now. There are a lot of G11 effects that I wished they'd implement on the B6. The significant differences: - G11 has more capacity for fx slots - G11 has dedicated knobs for the amp model and a combination of the 4 knobs/per slot (x 5 slots) format along with the new touch screen - G11 has built-in expression, more/better switching and navigation - B6 has the higher sample rate (G11 is 44.1khz) - B6 has XLR output w/DI modeling options - B6 is smaller footprint; the G11 is pretty huge - significant price difference I might be able to forget about the XLR and DI modeling options if the G11 were a higher sample rate. I think this does make a difference. That said, if the price drops significantly from where it is now, it's a very tempting option. If there are factory refurbs with full warranty available at a nice price, this could be very cool.
stewblack
Always fancied one of these. Now I am definitely smelling gas.

I'd be tempted if I can find one under warranty at a fire sale price. I've always preferred the WYSIWYG layout in Stomp Mode for live use, and with the G11 having 5 pedal slots plus the amp controls at the ready, that's the ticket. If only Zoom would overhaul the cosmetics and make it look a bit more pro and less toy-ish.
stewblack
Never see them at a decent second hand price. Not that I need any more effects of course...
